Stepping up at Eat shoes

This pair of flat court shoes are made from soft plaid leather & decorated with red velvet ribbon with an ornamental diamante buckle. I double hand stitched the sole edge with both red & purple thread.
Eat shoes recently moved to a brand new premises in Port Adelaide. How exciting. We are definitely moving up in the world as our studio is on the second story of a lovely old building. Eat shoes is going live this coming week. An Etsy page & facebook page will both be launched in the next 7days.
My aim with this pair of shoes was to imbue them with a totally handmade feel. The soles are handmade & double hand stitched in black & red thread. The ornamentation across the front of the shoe is also hand stitched. When you put these shoes on, the toes point slightly upward like genie shoes. Alas these are not my size so I will be selling them. They are a size 7. I am currently working on a similar pair in size 8 but they wont be identical because all my shoes are one off designs

Red shoes. This is a really basic pair of flat shoes that I made myself for spring. Note the blue hand stitching & lining which contrast nicely with the red. These shoes are also really comfy due to the thin rubber soles, soft leather & natural toe shape which moulds to the natural contours of the foot
