I recently participated in the Art at the Hart, Port Adelaide Market. The location at the edge of the Port River was great. I shared a market stall with my collaborators in Craft Club
http://www.craft-club.org. I sold plenty of shoes & I branched out & made some jewellery. I made mini teacup rings & badges using children's story book pictures.
My friends sarah-jane, Branwen & Jonathan were great collaborators & above is a picture of their work.
I had sox in a box for sale & I found this nifty shoe shaped ring holder to display some of the rings that I made. I'm quite partial to the Lego ring
I had some fun making purses out of left over shoe leather & I made matching jewellery like this teapot necklace.
There was a colourful Pinata hanging in a tree in front of our stall.
We were treated to a highland terrier parade which came through the market accompanied by live bagpipes.
What an interesting way to make a living!
