VINTAGE SHOE TREASURES

I love vintage shoes & I am putting together a small collection as I find them. The shoes in this post were all found in church sales run by little old ladies. This pair of shoes are genuine 1970's shoes with cork soles. I love these shoes so much that I am wearing them for my wedding. They only cost two dollars but they are priceless to me.

These great 1970's shoes were another two dollar find.

I love the fake wood look heels on these shoes. They are a really small size. Over the last twenty or thirty years women's feet have gotten larger in general. It could be genetic or it could be that women tend to wear less restricting shoes & bare feet which causes your feet to spread.

These shoes are either 1960's or 1970's, they are a bit battered but the colour is still really bright. I love the look of well worn shoes, they have character. I like to imagine who they once belonged to & what those people did while they were wearing them.
