Candy for the feet

Mens classic black & white Derby shoes. Not only did I design & make these with my lilly white hands but I also handmade the layered black & white soles by layering different coloured resins. I call them my licorice allsort shoes.
This is a pair of unisex oxford shoes. Designed & double handstitched by me. They are stitched in the veltschoen style. in the picture above my friend is wearing them with his best vintage 1970's flares.

A nod to indiaNote the detail stitched on the toe of the shoe. I made these from scratch from my own original pattern. I used a set of original 1940's wooden shoe lasts to acheive the classic toe shape

These vintage overhauls were originally silver & white Kitsch. I changed the buckles & used vintage fabric to cover the silver inserts. It took a few goes to find an approriate adhesive & a buckle that fit the shoe! The buckles were originally bling silver but I replaced them with zebra print.
The above above are an early pair of sandals that I rocked up by adding red barb wire (soft plastic) & a red guitar pick in the centre
